Accidentally getting mascara on your wrap dress can be a real heart-breaking experience. But don’t worry, here we have a few tried and tested steps to help restore your dress back to its former glory.

Before starting cleaning process it is always important to read the care instructions tag of your wrap dress to be sure that the fabric you are dealing with can handle the chemicals used in cleaning. With that said let’s get started:
- Scrape off as much of mascara stain as you can by using a spoon or other non-serrated object. Gently scrape the stain away from the fabric, being careful not to damage the dress.
- Wet a clean cloth with cold water and carefully dab the remaining stain with it. Rinse the area often with clean cold water.
- Apply a small amount of liquid laundry detergent directly to the stain and work it into the fabric gently with your fingertips.
- Let the detergent sit for about 5 minutes and then rinse area with cold water.
- For tougher stains, try dabbing them with rubbing alcohol or a paste made of borax powder mixed with water.
- Once the stain is gone, wash the dress according to the care label on garment.
By taking these steps your wrap dress will look as good as new with no mascara stain left on it. So don’t throw away that beloved dress just yet.
