Before attempting to clean your watch of mascara stains, make sure you have the right supplies on hand. You'll need a soft cloth, some isopropyl alcohol, a cotton swab, and some mild soap.
Before you attempt to tackle the mascara stain, it's important to give watch a good pre-clean. Take a soft cloth and wipe down all parts of watch that are covered in stain. This will help to dislodge any dry mascara so that it can come off more easily when you use the other cleaning materials.
Once the dry mascara has been removed, take a cotton swab and apply some isopropyl alcohol to the affected area. Gently rub cotton swab in circles over the stained area until the mascara begins to come off. Be sure not to rub too hard or use too much pressure, as this could cause damage to the watch.
After the initial cleaning with the isopropyl alcohol and cotton swab, use a mild soap and water to further remove the stain. Take a damp cloth and gently rub the stained areas until the mascara fully comes off. Afterward, rinse off the watch with some water and pat dry with a fresh cloth.
Once you have finished cleaning the watch, let it air dry for a few minutes before putting it back on. This will ensure that all remaining residue has been removed and will help prevent any further staining.
