- Prepare a solution of 1 part mild dishwashing soap to 4 parts water.
- Dip a clean cloth into the solution and apply it to the stain (do not saturate wallpaper).
- Gently blot the stained area with the damp cloth.
- Rinse the cloth, then use it to rinse away any soap residue.
- Let the walls air dry.
