Before you begin, you’ll need to gather up a few materials:
Using a clean cloth, blot the mascara stain to absorb as much of the excess mascara as possible. Do not rub it in, as this could spread the stain further. Once you have absorbed as much of the stain as you can, move onto the next step.
Mix together the baking soda, vinegar, and laundry detergent to form a paste. Then, apply the paste directly to the mascara stain. Allow the paste to sit for 30 minutes to an hour, depending on severity of the stain.
Rinse the paste away with a clean cloth and warm water. If the stain persists, you may need to repeat the process.
Fill a large tub with hot water and add the garment that has mascara stain. Allow the garment to soak for about one hour, then check to see if the stain has been removed. If stain is still present, you may need to repeat the soaking process.
If the stain is still present after soaking in hot water, use a toothbrush to gently scrub the stain. The bristles of the toothbrush will help to loosen the remaining mascara stain. However, be careful not to scrub too hard, as this could damage the fabric.
Once you have removed as much of the mascara stain as possible, rinse the garment with cold water. Then, allow garment to air-dry. Do not put garment in the dryer, as this could cause the stain to set.
By following these simple steps, you should be able to remove mascara stains from your Under Armour. Remember to be patient and take your time when treating the stain, as using too much force or harsh chemicals could damage the fabric.
