What You’ll Need
- A shallow bowl
- Liquid laundry detergent
- A spoon
- Warm water
- White cloths or paper towels
Step 1: Soak the Stain
To start the stain removal process, fill the shallow bowl with warm water and add a few drops of liquid laundry detergent. Gently stir the mixture with spoon until detergent has dissolved. Submerge the clothing item in the bowl and let it sit for 30 minutes.
Step 2: Launder as Usual
Take the tank top out of the solution and squeeze out any excess water with your hands. Place the tank top in the washing machine and launder it as you usually would. Then, hang it up to dry.
Step 3: Check for Residue
Once the tank top is done drying, check for any residual mascara stains. If there are still some, apply some detergent directly onto the stain. Next, rub fabric together using your hands to lather up the soap, and then rinse garment with cold water. Repeat if necessary.
Step 4: Dry Off
