Step One: Use a Microfiber Cloth

Start by using a microfiber cloth to wipe away the excess mascara. Make sure to rub gently in circles to avoid scratching or damaging the lenses of your sunglasses. If you don't have a microfiber cloth, you can use a soft cotton cloth instead.

Step Two: Fill a Bowl with Warm Water and Soap

Fill a bowl with warm water and add a few drops of liquid dish soap. Soak a soft cotton cloth in bowl, wring it out so that it's damp, and then begin rubbing in gentle circles. This will help loosen any remaining mascara stains before moving on to the next step.

Step Three: Soak in Rubbing Alcohol

Take a cotton swab and dip it in rubbing alcohol. Gently rub stained area until all of mascara is gone. Be careful not to rub too hard so as not to damage the surface of your sunglasses.

Step Four: Rinse with Clean Water and Dry

Once all of the mascara is gone, rinse your sunglasses with clean water and dry them with a soft cloth. You'll now have the perfect pair of adult sunglasses free of any pesky mascara stains!
