One of the most common ways people attempt to remove mascara stains from their slippers is to scrub them. While scrubbing can help remove the stain, it can also cause further damage to the material that the slippers are made of. Instead, a better approach would be to start by soaking the slippers in a mixture of detergent and warm water for 30 minutes. This will help loosen up the mascara and make it easier to remove.

Once the slippers have soaked for allotted time, use a soft-bristled brush to gently scrub away mascara stains. Be sure to avoid using harsh cleaning agents or brushes as this could damage the material of the slippers even further. After scrubbing, rinse the slippers thoroughly to remove any remaining stains or soap residue.

Another way to try and remove mascara stains from slippers is to use distilled white vinegar. Simply mix the vinegar with warm water and soak the slippers for at least an hour. Afterwards, use a soft cloth to dab the solution onto the mascara stains. Once removed, rinse the slippers with cold water and let them air dry.

If all else fails, you can always take your slippers to a professional cleaner or seamstress. In most cases, they should be able to easily remove the mascara stains from your slippers. Just be sure to explain particulars of stain before handing them over.
