If you wake up with a makeup stain on your clothes, first step is to blot the area gently with a white cloth or paper towel. Do not rub or scrub the stain. This will help prevent it from spreading and getting worse.
Then, use a stain remover such as dish soap, laundry detergent, or vinegar to pre-treat the area. Let the solution sit on the stain for a few minutes before rinsing it off with cold water.
Once stain has been pre-treated, put the item in the washing machine with a gentle detergent and lukewarm water. Choose the gentlest cycle to avoid damaging the fabric.
When the cycle is finished, check the item to make sure the stain is gone. If it's still there, repeat the process. You may need to pre-treat a few times if stain is stubborn.
If the stain is now gone, you can add fabric softener to the last rinse cycle to keep fabric soft. This will also help prevent the stain from coming back.
By following these steps, you can easily get rid of those pesky mascara stains on your sleepwear. Good luck!
