What You'll Need
- Soft-bristled brush (toothbrush or other soft brush)
- Damp cloth
- Liquid soap
- White vinegar
- Baking soda
Instructions
- Using soft-bristled brush, gently scrape away any excess mascara that is still on the Skechers.
- Soak a damp cloth with liquid soap and use it to clean the area of the stain.
- Mix together equal parts white vinegar and baking soda to form a paste. Apply paste to the stained area in a circular motion and let sit for 15 minutes.
- Use the damp cloth to wipe away the paste and residue from the surface of the Skechers.
- Repeat steps 2-4 until the stain has been removed.
- Let the Skechers air dry before wearing again.
Tips and Tricks
- It may take several tries to remove the stain completely; don't give up!
- Always test a small area of Skechers first to make sure the cleaning materials won't damage the fabric of the shoe.
- Try adding a few drops of essential oil to the white vinegar and baking soda paste for a pleasant scent.
