Step 1: Blot the Stain

Step 2: Apply Detergent
Once the stain has been blotted, add a few drops of dishwashing detergent to the affected area. Gently rub detergent into the fabric so it can start to lift the stain.
Step 3: Rinse and Dry
Rinse the detergent off the fabric with cool water, taking care not to spread the stain further. Then, pat fabric dry with a clean towel.
Step 4: Repeat if Necessary
