4 Easy Steps to Clean Mascara Stains from Silk Crepe de Chine

Step 1: Pre-treat The Stain With Soap and Water
Mix 2-3 drops of mild liquid soap or detergent with two tablespoons of cold water. Use a soft cloth to dab the stain with the soapy solution. Do not rub it in as this may spread the stain further. Allow the fabric to soak up the solution for 5-10 minutes.
Step 2: Rinse With Cold Water
Carefully rinse the area with cold water. Occasionally blot the area with a clean, damp cloth to ensure all soap has been rinsed away.
Step 3: Apply Stain Remover
Carefully apply a stain remover directly onto the stain. Allow the stain remover to sit for 30-60 minutes before rinsing it off with a damp cloth.
Step 4: Launder As Usual
Machine wash the fabric as you would normally. Be sure to use cold water and a gentle cycle. Do not dry fabric until you are certain the stain is completely gone.
