Lightly dampen the stained areas of the mask and use the fine-bristle brush to massage detergent into the fabric. Concentrate on the stain, making sure you're getting into all the crevices. This should help break down any water-soluble proteins from the mascara, which should make it easier to remove them.
Mix one tablespoon of white vinegar with two tablespoons of warm water. Continuing to rub the stain with your fingers, soak the affected area in the mixture for 15 minutes. Afterwards, rinse out as much of liquid as possible.
Avoid putting your mask in the washing machine or dryer. Instead, pat the stained area with a dry cloth and let it air dry in a well-ventilated area.
