The first and most important step is to rinse off your headphones with lukewarm water to remove any loose particles and dirt. Once you've done that, take a mild soap and mix it with some water to create a soapy solution.
Using a soft, clean cloth, carefully apply the solution onto the headband and ear cups. Before you start scrubbing, make sure that you are using gentle circular motions. Scrubbing too hard can damage the material of your headphones.
Once you are done scrubbing, rinse your headphones with lukewarm water again until all the soap has been removed. Finally, use a dry towel to pat them dry.
If the soap and water method isn't working, you can try using rubbing alcohol. Take a cotton pad or a soft cloth and dip it in some rubbing alcohol. Carefully rub stained area of your headphones with the cotton pad for a few minutes. Avoid scrubbing, as it can cause damage to the material.
Once you are done, rinse the area with lukewarm water to remove the rubbing alcohol. Then, pat them dry with a soft towel and voila – your headphones will look as good as new!
With these simple steps, you can successfully remove mascara stains from your headphones without damaging them. Remember, gentle cleaning is the key and always follow the manufacturer's instructions for best results!
