Step 1: Tackling Fresh Mascara Stains

If the stain is still wet, you can start by blotting at it with a clean cloth to remove as much of the wet mascara as possible. Do not rub it, as this will only spread stain and make it harder to remove.

Step 2: Removing Older Stains

For older, dried-on mascara stains, you can try using a few drops of gentle dish soap mixed with warm water. Dip a soft cloth into the mixture and use it to blot the stained area until the stain starts to fade. Wipe away any excess soap with a damp cloth.

Step 3: Deodorizing Your Bag

To eliminate any residual odors left behind by the mascara stain, you can sprinkle a little baking soda onto the affected area and just let it sit for up to an hour. Once the time is up, brush away the baking soda and your bag should be good as new!

Now that you know how to tackle any type of mascara stain, you'll never have to worry about unsightly marks ruining your favourite handbag.
