How to Easily Remove Mascara Stains from Your Fleece

Mascara stains can be difficult to remove from apparel, but there are several tried and true methods to help get the job done. The process can vary slightly depending on the material of your fleece, but the general steps for cleaning mascara stains remains the same. Here’s how you can easily remove mascara stains from your fleece:
- Create a cleaning solution of one part liquid detergent and one part warm water. If the stain is particularly stubborn, you can try a solution of two parts rubbing alcohol and one part water.
- Using a white cloth, gently dab at the stain using the cleaning solution and blot until the stain fades. Do not scrub or rub the stain as this will only spread it further.
- Rinse area where you applied the cleaning solution with warm water.
- If stain persists repeat steps 1-3.
- Once stain has been removed, turn the fleece inside out, then wash in the washing machine on a cool delicate cycle with detergent.
- Allow the fleece to air dry. Avoid using a high heat setting when using a clothes dryer as it may set the stain.
