Start by soaking the stained area in a bowl of warm water and a few drops of dish soap. Allow the shoe to soak for 15 minutes, then use a soft cloth to dab at the stain.
Next, apply an oxygen-based stain remover such as OxiClean directly to stain. Let it sit for 15 minutes before rinsing with a damp cloth. Repeat if necessary.
If the stain is still visible after Step 2, try applying white vinegar directly to the area. Let the vinegar sit for 5-10 minutes before rinsing with a clean cloth. Repeat if needed.
If the stain is still present, gently scrub the area with an old toothbrush and a mixture of dish soap and warm water. Rinse thoroughly with a damp cloth.
Now that stain is gone, hang your shoes up to dry in a well-ventilated area, away from direct sunlight. Do not put them in the drying machine or put them in sun to dry, as this could set the stain.
