Start by getting some non-acetone nail polish remover and pouring it onto a paper towel. Make sure not to pour too much, as it'll just go to waste that way. Then, dab the nail polish remover onto the mascara stain, being careful not to rub it in. Leave the polish remover on the area for a few minutes to give it time to break down the mascara.
Once the stain has had enough time to sit in the nail polish remover, take a clean towel and start to scrub affected area gently. This should help to gradually remove the mascara stain. Keep scrubbing until all of the mascara is gone.
Once you've managed to remove most of the stain, rinse the area with cold water. This will help to make sure all of the nail polish remover residue is gone. If any of the stain remains, repeat the process until it's completely gone.
To finish off, put your belt into the washing machine and wash it on a regular cycle with cold water. This should help to remove any of the remaining mascara stains and ensure your belt looks good as new.
