Removing mascara stains from baking dishes is actually quite easy and just requires a few items and some elbow grease. Here’s what you’ll need:

  • Rubber gloves
  • Regular dish soap
  • Baking soda
  • White vinegar
  • Soft-bristle brush

Once you’ve gathered everything you need, the actual cleaning process only takes about 5 minutes:

  1. Put on the rubber gloves to protect your hands while cleaning.
  2. Mix one tablespoon of baking soda with one tablespoon of dish soap in a bowl. Stir until it forms a paste.
  3. Apply the paste to the mascara stains on the baking dish.
  4. Let paste sit for a few minutes.
  5. Wet a soft-bristle brush and use it to scrub the paste into stains. Be sure to be gentle and not scratch the surface of the baking dish.
  6. Rinse the baking dish with water.
  7. Fill dish with hot water and add one cup of white vinegar. Let it sit for a few minutes.
  8. Dump out the liquid and wash the baking dish with regular dish soap.
  9. Rinse again with hot water and let the baking dish dry.

And there you have it! All the mascara stains should now be gone. You can now safely reuse your baking dish without any worries.
