What You'll Need
- A small bowl
- One teaspoon of liquid detergent
- One teaspoon of white vinegar
- A clean, lint-free cloth
- Paper towels
- Lukewarm water
Instructions
- Mix one teaspoon of liquid detergent and one teaspoon of white vinegar with about one cup of lukewarm water in your small bowl.
- Dip your clean, lint-free cloth into the mixture and carefully dab the mascara stain.
- Continue to dab until stain is gone. If necessary, you can use an old toothbrush to remove any residue.
- Once the stain is gone, blot the area with paper towels to remove excess moisture.
- Repeat the process if needed.
Tips
- It's important to use a clean, lint-free cloth when cleaning your activewear. Lint from the cloth can transfer onto the fabric and make stain harder to remove.
- Avoid using hot water when cleaning your activewear, as it can cause the stain to set and become more difficult to remove.
- It's best to do spot cleaning as soon as possible after the mascara stain occurs.
- If your activewear is machine washable, you can try washing it with a mild detergent and warm water.
