Markers can easily stain clothing, furniture and other surfaces. If the stain occurred on an expensive piece of Versace clothing or upholstery, you may be concerned — but fear not! With the right solution and cleaning technique, you can easily remove marker stains from Versace fabrics.

Things You’ll Need

  • White cloths
  • Dish soap
  • Hydrogen peroxide
  • Water
  • Vacuum cleaner

Instructions

  1. Blot the marker stain using a white cloth to help remove as much of the marker as possible.
  2. Mix two parts warm water and one part dish soap together until it forms suds.
  3. Dip the white cloth into soapy mixture and dab the spot you need to clean.
  4. Allow the solution to sit for up to 10 minutes.
  5. Rinse theVersace fabric with cool or warm water for about 20 seconds.
  6. Saturate a new white cloth with hydrogen peroxide and apply to marker spot.
  7. Leave the hydrogen peroxide on the area for 15 to 20 minutes.
  8. Vacuum gently to remove any remaining residue.

Tips

  • Gently blot the stained area. Rubbing may cause the stain to set further.
  • To avoid further damage, never use bleach on Versace fabrics.
  • If the stain still won't come out, take it to a dry cleaner.
