  1. Create a mixture of a few drops of mild liquid detergent and cold water in a small bowl.
  2. Dip the paper towel or soft cloth into mixture and then squeeze out the excess liquid.
  3. Gently dab the marker stain with the damp cloth.
  4. Continue dabbing the stain until no more color comes off the cloth.
  5. If the stain is still present, create a mixture of equal parts lemon juice and cold water and apply it to the stained area.
  6. Dab the stain until stain is completely gone.
  7. Once the stain is removed, rinse stained area with cold water.
  8. Allow the area to air dry.
