Step 1: Gather Your Materials

You'll need these items to clean your marker-stained underwear:

  • Dish soap
  • Cleaning cloths or towels
  • White vinegar or rubbing alcohol
  • Baking soda (optional)

Step 2: Dab Soap & Water on the Stain

Dab some dish soap directly onto the marker stain and then gently rub it in. If the marker stain is really stubborn, use a toothbrush to scrub it before applying the soap. Now soak the fabric in warm water for 15 minutes.

Step 3: Apply White Vinegar

After soaking, you'll want to apply white vinegar or rubbing alcohol directly to the stain. If you're using vinegar, mix equal parts white vinegar and water before applying it. Allow the vinegar or rubbing alcohol mixture to sit for 10 minutes and then rinse it off with cold water.

Step 4: Apply Baking Soda (optional)

Baking soda can help to further remove stubborn stains. Make a paste out of baking soda and water and apply it to the stain. Let it sit for 10 to 15 minutes and then rinse off with cold water.

Step 5: Wash as Usual

Now you can wash your underwear as you usually would in either the washer or sink. It's best to hang dry your underwear rather than use a dryer.

That's It!

You did it! With a little bit of elbow grease, patience, and the right materials, you can easily get marker stains out of your beloved underwear.
