Easily Remove Marker Stains from Tommy Hilfiger with These Simple Steps

Accidents happen. Whether your little one grabbed a permanent marker in the store or you have a set of markers that have migrated to your Tommy Hilfiger clothing, removing the stains may seem daunting. But if you know the right steps, it is relatively easy to remove marker stains from your clothing.

What you will need

• Dish Soap
• Rubbing Alcohol
• Bucket of Warm Water
• Old Toothbrush
• Dry Towel

Steps to Clean Marker Stains from Tommy Hilfiger

1. As soon as you notice the stain, it is best to address it immediately. If the stain has already dried, dampen the area with a damp cloth and combine a quarter teaspoon of dish soap with warm water in a bowl.
2. Using an old toothbrush, scrub the stained area with this dish soap and warm water solution using circular motions.
3. Rinse off the area with a damp cloth.
4. If the stain is still present, put rubbing alcohol on a cotton swab or clean cloth and blot it onto the stained area.
5. Keep bloting the area with the rubbing alcohol, until the marker stains are gone.
6. Rinse off the area again with a damp cloth.
7. After the stain is gone, place item in the washer with detergent on the hottest temperature setting recommended for that item.
8. Once the item is out of the washer, lay it flat on a dry towel and allow to air dry.
