The first step is to get some rubbing alcohol, which can be easily found at any pharmacy or department store. Get a clean cloth, preferably white, as color may transfer when using a colored cloth.
Put a few drops of the rubbing alcohol onto the stained area of fabric and gently scrub it for about 30 seconds. Do not scrub too hard to avoid damaging the fabric.
Once you’ve scrubbed stained area for a minute, let it sit for a few minutes so that the rubbing alcohol can penetrate the fabric and break down the marker stain. Then, rinse the fabric in cold water if possible.
After rinsing the fabric, it’s time to use your washing machine. Place the fabric in the washing machine with a gentle cycle, no bleach, and cold water. This will help to remove the marker stain even further.
Finally, tumble dry your tencel fabric item without any heat. The heat could set stain even more and make it harder to remove completely.
By following these simple steps, you can easily clean up those annoying marker stains from your favorite tencel fabric item. Good luck!
