Step 1: Gather Your Supplies

Begin by gathering the necessary supplies: a cotton ball or cloth, rubbing alcohol, laundry detergent, and a bowl of warm water.

Step 2: Apply Rubbing Alcohol

Take the cotton ball or cloth and soak it in rubbing alcohol. Then, dab the marker stain with the cloth or cotton ball.

Step 3: Launder as Usual

Once the marker stain has been treated with rubbing alcohol, run the shorts through washing machine with your usual laundry detergent.

Step 4: Spot Treat with Soap & Water

If there is still a visible mark on the shorts after laundering, try spot-treating it with a few drops of mild liquid soap and some warm water. Use a gentle scrubbing motion with a cloth over the area, then rinse the area with warm water.
