berry Markers are great for crafting, drawing, and adding personalization to items. However, accidents do happen and marker stains can sometimes end up on your clothing. Though it may seem like a daunting task, removing the marker stains is easy when you have the right know-how. The first step in removing marker stains is to act fast. If the shirt has been through the washing machine, then the stain may have set in and it will be much harder to remove. Start by applying rubbing alcohol or a product specifically made to remove ink stains, such as WD-40, directly to the mark. Lightly rub the area with a damp cloth until the taint begins to lift. If the stain remains, try using a detergent specifically made to break down oil-based stains, such as those found in markers, highlighters, and pens. Gently rub the detergent into the stained area and leave it for around five minutes. Dab the area with a damp cloth and repeat this process until the stain is gone. Be patient during this process as it may require multiple attempts before the stain is completely removed. If the stain still remains, you may need to try a stronger agent like bleach specifically designed for whites. Cleaning marker stains from clothing does not have to be a daunting task. With the right techniques, you can easily and quickly remove even the most difficult of stains.
