Before you can get started, you'll need to assemble a few basic items first. Grab the following: mild liquid detergent, white cloths, white paper towels, and rubbing alcohol.
Saturate a white cloth or paper towel with rubbing alcohol, then dab stained area. Make sure to do this gently, taking care not to rub the stain too hard as it could encourage it to set in more deeply.
Once you've applied the rubbing alcohol, give area a little bit of time to begin to break down the stain. After a few minutes has passed, dampen a white cloth with cool water and blot the stain, being careful to go in one direction to prevent the stain's spread.
Next, soak a different cloth in cold water mixed with a mild detergent. Once it's damp, use it to rinse the area of the stain. Then, switch back to first cloth and dab it to remove any residue of the detergent.
Finally, hang the rayon fabric in a well-ventilated spot away from direct sunlight and allow it to air dry. Check the area closely when it's done to ensure that all of the stain has been removed. If not, repeat the steps above until it disappears.
Stain removal doesn't have to be a tricky process if you're properly prepared. With help of some cleaning supplies and a gentle touch, you can easily remove marker stains from rayon fabric in just a few simple steps.
