Your first step should be to blot the stain, using a soft cloth or paper towel. Soak up as much of the marker as possible. Make sure not to rub the stain, as this can spread the ink even further.
Mix a small amount of detergent and warm water in a bowl. Then, soak an old cloth in mixture and use it to scrub the stained area. Keep blotting stain with a paper towel until it is completely gone.
If the stain still won’t come out, you can also try applying rubbing alcohol or nail polish remover to the affected area. Use a cotton swab or an old toothbrush to gently scrub the area. When the stain has disappeared, rinse the area with clean water.
Once the stain is removed, pat the area dry with a paper towel. If possible, let pet bed air dry in a warm, sunny spot. This will help prevent any remaining moisture from leaving a stain.
When it comes to removing marker stains from pet beds, it’s important to be patient and take the right steps. With the right approach, you can easily get those marker stains out of your pet’s bed. Good luck!
