Take off any accessories such as pins, buttons or other metal pieces from the pencil skirt before cleaning.
If marker stain is still wet, use a paper towel to blot the area in order to absorb excess ink. Don't rub area as it will spread the stain further.
Mix a few drops of mild detergent with warm water and use a soft-bristled toothbrush to gently scrub the stained area. Rinse off with lukewarm water.
Pour some rubbing alcohol on a cloth or a cotton ball and dab the stained area. Rinse well with lukewarm water.
If stain persists, apply a small amount of hydrogen peroxide to the stained area and let it sit for a few minutes before rinsing it off.
Now your pencil skirt is free from marker stains and ready for your stylish outing. Follow these steps and you'll never be caught off guard by a marker stain again.
