Time is always of essence when dealing with stains and your best bet is to act quickly. The sooner you can address stain, the better chance you have of completely removing it.
Dab the stained area with a dry cloth or paper towel to absorb as much of the marker residue as possible.
Apply a light layer of dishwashing soap over the stained area and let it sit for 10 minutes. If stain is proving to be stubborn, use a soft brush to lightly scrub the soap into the affected area.
Rinse the garment under warm water and use a clean cloth to pat the area dry. If the stain has not been entirely removed, repeat steps 2-4 once more.
Mix equal parts white vinegar and cool water in a small bowl, then use a sponge to apply the solution directly to the stain. Let it sit for 10 minutes, then rinse and dry the garment as instructed in step 4.
After following all of the steps, you should check to see if stain has been completely removed. If there is still a slight discoloration, try repeating steps 2-5 one more time.
Getting marker stains out of Paul Smith garments can be tough, but it is possible. Remember to act quickly and to keep trying if something doesn’t work first time. By following the above steps, you can ensure that your pieces remain unscathed and continue to look their best!
