Step 1: Blot the Stain

If marker stain is still wet, blot the excess stain off the surface with a cotton or white cloth. Do not rub the area as this may spread the stain further.

Step 2: Apply Detergent

Apply a mild laundry detergent to a sponge or cloth and lightly dab the stained area. Alternatively, you can use a spot cleaner specifically designed to remove marker stains.

Step 3: Rinse and Dry

Rinse off the detergent with cold water and then pat the area dry. Once you have blotted area, avoid putting the parka in the washing machine until you are sure all of the marker is completely gone.

Step 4: Repeat as Needed

If stain remains, repeat steps 2 and 3 until stain has been removed. If the stain persists after multiple attempts, you may need to seek professional assistance.
