Step 1: Scrub the Stain

Start by lightly scrubbing the stained area with a white cloth and some warm soapy water. Use a gentle motion and be careful not to rub too hard, as this may worsen the stain. If possible, try using a mild liquid dish detergent or laundry detergent.

Step 2: Apply Laundry Detergent Paste

Mix together equal parts laundry detergent and warm water to create a paste. Gently apply the paste to the stained area and let it sit for 15-20 minutes. After letting it sit, use a wet sponge or cloth to gently scrub off the paste and stain. Rinse with warm water.

Step 3: Try Vinegar Solution

If the stain still persists, mix together 1 part white vinegar and 1 part warm water. Sponge the stained area with a solution and let it sit for 10 minutes. Afterwards, scrub any residue with a soft-bristled brush. Rinse the furniture with warm water and dry with a soft cloth.

Step 4: Scrub with Nail Polish Remover

If all else fails, head to the store and pick up some non-acetone nail polish remover. With a cloth, apply some of the nail polish remover to the stained area and scrub gently. Again, be careful not to scrub too hard as this could lead to more damage. Rinse off with warm water and dry with a cloth.

With these easy steps, you'll have your outdoor furniture looking fresh and new in no time.
