The first step in the removal process is to gently blot the stained area with clean cloths or paper towels. Be sure to use white cloths as colored cloths may transfer dye to the nylon fabric.
If the marker stain is still there, apply a small amount of dry cleaning solvent to the stained area. Allow the solvent to sit for several minutes, then blot the area with a clean cloth or paper towel.
If the stain remains, you can try laundering the fabric with laundry detergent or liquid hand soap. If possible, be sure to use a gentle cycle, as harsher cycles can damage fabric.
You can also try soaking the stained fabric in a solution of equal parts white vinegar and water for up to 20 minutes. Again, be sure to use a gentle cycle, then rinse with cold water.
If the stain is still there, make a paste out of baking soda and water. Apply the paste to the stained area and leave it to sit for 30 minutes. Gently scrub the area with a toothbrush, then rinse with cold water.
