How to Get Rid of Marker Stains from Kitchen Utensils
Accidents happen, and sometimes markers accidentally get on your kitchen utensils. But don't worry, there are ways to get rid of those marker stains so you can keep using your cookware.

Materials Needed
- Soap (dish soap is preferred)
- Sponge
- Baking soda
- Rubbing alcohol
- White vinegar
Steps
- Mix 1 tablespoon of baking soda and 1 teaspoon of white vinegar in a cup or bowl of warm water to make a paste.
- Dampen a sponge in paste then gently rub it over marker stain.
- Rinse off the paste with warm water then wash the kitchen utensil thoroughly with soap and water.
- If soap and water does not remove the marker stain, try using a rag dabbed with rubbing alcohol.
- Gently rub the rag over marker stain. Repeat if needed.
- Rinse off the rubbing alcohol with warm water then wash kitchen utensil thoroughly with soap and water.
Tips
- Make sure to test the baking soda and white vinegar solution on a small area on the kitchen utensil first before applying it to entire surface.
- Be sure to dry the kitchen utensil thoroughly before storing it away.
- It is best to clean kitchen utensils with just soap and water as much as possible in order to prevent any residue build up.
