  • Water
  • Mild laundry detergent
  • Soft cloths
  • White vinegar
  • Baking soda

Directions

  1. If marker stain is still wet, use a damp cloth to blot the area.
  2. Create a solution of one teaspoon of mild laundry detergent mixed with one cup of water.
  3. Dip a soft cloth into the solution and dab the area gently. Continue dabbing area until the stain is gone or fades significantly.
  4. Rinse the area with cool water to remove any traces of the solution.
  5. For more stubborn markers, mix equal parts white vinegar and baking soda to form a paste.
  6. Apply paste to the stained area and allow it to sit for up to 20 minutes.
  7. Remove the paste with a damp cloth and rinse the area with cool water.
  8. Repeat Steps 5-7 if needed.
