- Mix a solution of equal parts white vinegar and water in a bowl.
- Dip a soft cloth into the vinegar solution.
- Gently rub the stain until it starts to fade away.
- Let vinegar solution penetrate the stain for a few minutes.
- Rinse stain with cold water.
- Sprinkle a bit of baking soda over the stain and let it sit overnight.
- Vacuum the baking soda off the jacket in the morning.
Removing Marker Stains from a Cotton Jacket
- Mix a solution of one part dish soap and one part white vinegar in a bowl.
- Blot the stain with a soft cloth that has been dipped into the solution.
- Keep blotting until stain begins to fade away.
