Step by Step Guide To Remove Marker Stains From J Jill Clothes

Step 1: Pre-treat Stain

Make a cleaning solution by mixing one part white vinegar with one part rubbing alcohol, and dab it onto the stain with a sponge. Leave it on for a few minutes before moving on to the next step.

Step 2: Wash in Hot Water

Put the clothes into the washing machine and select the hottest water setting suitable for the fabric (most J Jill clothing should be washed in cold or warm water). Add the appropriate amount of Tide Original Powder Laundry Detergent or regular dish soap. Let the clothes soak for a few minutes before running a full wash cycle.

Step 3: Scrub the Stain

Scrub the area with an old toothbrush and then rinse off cleaning solution and suds. If the stain has not completely come out, repeat steps 1-3 as needed.

Step 4: Dry the Garment

Place item of clothing on a flat surface and gently pat dry with a towel. Air-dry if possible, or use a low heat setting on your dryer. Don’t forget to read the label for care instructions and follow them accordingly.
