Steps to Remove Marker Stains:
- Using a soft white cloth, dampen it with lukewarm water and gently dab the stained area. This will help dissolve the marker.
- Create a mixture of water and ammonia in a bucket and soak the fabric for 30 minutes. For delicate fabrics, mix one tablespoon of ammonia to one cup of water.
- When ready, remove the fabric and place it in a basin filled with lukewarm water. Gently rub the stained area until the marker disappears.
- To finish, rinse fabric under running water in the tub and hang it to dry.
Tips & Warnings
- For best results, use a mild laundry detergent after washing the fabric.
- Test the cleaning solution on an inconspicuous area to make sure it won't cause discoloration.
- Do not use hot water when cleaning Habutai as it can shrink and damage the fabric.
- Be cautious when handling ammonia and wear rubber gloves to avoid skin irritation.
