Marker stains can be one of toughest types of stain to remove from any type of fabric or material, but that doesn't mean it's impossible. With a bit of patience and the right cleaning methods, you can restore your gloves to their former glory.

Method 1: Rubbing Alcohol

Rubbing alcohol is a reliable and effective stain fighter, and its strong antiseptic properties make it especially good for removing ink and marker stains. To use it for your gloves, simply pour some rubbing alcohol onto a clean cloth and lightly dab the stained area. Keep in mind that you should never pour rubbing alcohol directly onto the gloves. Let the area dry, then launder as usual.

Method 2: Vinegar & Baking Soda

This classic cleaning combination also works well to eliminate marker stains from gloves. Start by making a paste using equal parts vinegar and baking soda. Apply the paste to the stained area and let it sit for 15 minutes. When the time is up, rinse the gloves in cold water and air dry. Launder as desired.

Method 3: Spot Cleaning

If the stain is particularly stubborn, spot cleaning may be your best bet. Start by spraying the stained area with a spot cleaner designed for fabric or leather. Let it sit for 5-10 minutes, then use a clean cloth to rub the area gently. Rinse the gloves with cold water, then air dry and launder as usual.

Removing marker stains from gloves doesn't have to be difficult. With the right cleaning supplies and a bit of patience, you can have your gloves looking like new in no time.
