Markers can leave a mess, but it doesn't have to be permanent. With the right supplies and a little time, you can remove marker stains from flannel fabric and restore it to like-new condition.

- Liquid detergent
- Baking soda
- White vinegar
- A vacuum cleaner
- Clothes iron
How to Remove Marker Stains from Flannel
- Using a vacuum cleaner, remove as much of the marker stain as possible by vacuuming gently in a circular motion over the affected fabric.
- Mix one part liquid detergent with three parts warm water. Using a clean white cloth, dab the stain with the detergent mixture and allow to sit for several minutes.
- Blot the area with a slightly damp white cloth. Rinse with warm water and blot dry with a new clean white cloth.
- If the stain persists, mix one tablespoon of baking soda with two tablespoons of white vinegar. Apply the mixture to affected area and gently scrub the fabric using a soft-bristled brush in a circular motion.
- Rinse the area with clean warm water.
- Allow the fabric to air dry or use a clothes iron set to low heat to dry.
