To start, gently wash the earplug with a light soap and warm water. Avoid using too much agitation as this may cause the ink to spread out more. Once the earplug has been washed, rinse it off with cold water. This should help to remove most of the ink from fabric.
If you have plastic earplugs that have ink stains on them, you can use rubbing alcohol to help remove the stain. Start by dampening a cotton swab with the rubbing alcohol and gently rub swab over the stained area. This should help to remove the ink, but you may need to repeat the process several times to get rid of the stain completely.
If you don’t want to go to the trouble of washing or scrubbing the ink off of your earplugs, you can simply cover it up with a dry erase marker. This is a great way to hide any unsightly ink stains on your earplugs and make them look like new again.
To keep your earplugs looking new, make sure you clean them regularly with a mild soap and warm water. You can also use rubbing alcohol on plastic earplugs to help remove stubborn stains. Make sure to air dry the earplugs after cleaning to prevent any mold or mildew buildup.
Cleaning marker stains from your earplugs doesn't have to be a hassle. With the right cleaning products and techniques, you can easily remove the ink stains and have your earplugs looking like new again in no time.
