Double georgette is a lightweight, sheer, synthetic fabric made of two layers of nylon fibers. It's both comfortable and breathable, making it a popular choice for blouses, eveningwear, and accessories. Unfortunately, marker stains can be tough to remove from this delicate fabric.

But don't worry! We've put together some simple tips and tricks that will help you clean these pesky marks from your double georgette.

7 Steps to Remove Marker Stains from Double Georgette

  1. Put the affected area of fabric between two pieces of paper towel and press firmly to absorb as much of the stain as possible.
  2. Mix equal parts of rubbing alcohol and water and apply it directly to the stained area with a sponge or soft cloth.
  3. Rinse the cloth in cold water and continue to blot fabric until the stain is gone.
  4. Mix one part dish soap with two parts warm water and gently rub the stained area with it using a sponge or soft cloth.
  5. Rinse the cloth in cold water and continue to blot the fabric until stain is gone.
  6. If the stain remains, repeat steps 2 - 5 until stain is no longer visible.
  7. Allow fabric to air dry or use a hair dryer on a low heat setting.

By following these steps, you should be able to easily remove marker stains from your double georgette fabric. However, if problem persists, take garment to a professional dry cleaner.
