What You'll Need
- Clean cloth or paper towels
- Cold water
- Mild liquid detergent
- White vinegar
- Oxygen bleach
- Stain remover or laundry pre-treater
Steps to Follow
- First, try to remove as much of the excess ink as possible with a clean cloth or paper towel.
- Soak the stained area in cold water for about 30 minutes.
- Create a mixture of mild liquid detergent and white vinegar, and apply it to the stain. Let it sit for five minutes.
- If necessary, apply a stain remover or laundry pre-treater to the stain, following the product’s directions.
- Rinse the fabric with cold water. Then, apply a solution of oxygen bleach and cold water to the stain and let it sit for 15 minutes.
- Rinse the fabric again with cold water, then launder as usual.
