Here are the steps you need to follow to get marker stains out of cotton twill:

  • Start by blotting the stained area with a damp cloth to remove any excess marker.
  • Next, mix a solution of equal parts white vinegar and water in a bowl.
  • Using a clean cloth, dip it into solution and dab the stained area gently, working your way outwards.
  • Rinse the area with cold water and repeat the process if necessary.

Additional Tips

If the marker stain is still visible after first round of cleaning, try mixing a paste of baking soda and water. Spread paste on the stain and let it sit for 15-20 minutes. Then rinse off with cold water and repeat if needed.
