Begin by using a spoon or butter knife to gently scrape off any excess ink that is still sitting on fabric. Be careful to not scrub too hard, as this can push the ink further into the fabric.
Next, choose an appropriate stain remover for this particular fabric. Since cotton oxford is delicate, you should use a laundry detergent that is specifically meant for delicate fabrics. Work the solution gently into the stained area with a cloth or brush. Make sure to cover affected area completely, then allow the solution to sit for five to ten minutes.
After the allotted time has passed, rinse off stain remover with cold water. Check the fabric to see if the stain has been lifted. If not, follow steps two and three again until the stain is removed.
Finally, wash the fabric as normal using a mild detergent. Immediately after washing, inspect the fabric to see if the stain has been removed. If the stain remains, repeat steps two through four until the stain has been successfully removed.
