Nothing ruins the look of a corduroy outfit like marker stains! They can be stubborn and tough to remove, especially on textured fabric like corduroy. Luckily, with a few easy steps, you can easily restore your corduroy and make it look clean and fresh.

Step 1: Blot the Stain

Start by blotting the stained area with a dry cloth to absorb as much of the marker as possible. Use gentle strokes and avoid rubbing, which can spread the stain even further.

Step 2: Apply Rubbing Alcohol

Next, saturate the area with rubbing alcohol and let it sit for 5-10 minutes. Then follow up with more blotting to help lift the stain from the fibers. If the stain still persists, repeat the process a few more times until it disappears.

Step 3: Wash & Dry

After stain has been removed, wash and dry the corduroy according to its care instructions. This will help to prevent any lingering odor that could remain after the cleaning process.

With these three simple steps, you can easily remove marker stains from corduroy and keep your clothes looking fresh!
