Using a soft cloth or paper towel, gently blot the area around the stain until it is as dry as possible. This will help prevent stain from spreading as you work.
Using a cotton swab or brush, gently dab the area with white vinegar. Let the vinegar sit for a few minutes before wiping away with a damp cloth.
Apply a small amount of mild detergent to the stained area. Gently rub the detergent into the lace with a soft cloth. Let the detergent sit for a few minutes before wiping away with a damp cloth.
Rinse the area with cool water, then lay it out flat to air dry.
