To get started, create a salt paste by mixing two tablespoons of salt with a half cup of cold water in a bowl or cup. Stir until the salt dissolves and you have a thick paste.
Once the paste is ready, use a cotton ball or applicator brush to spread it over the stained area. Make sure the paste is thoroughly applied, allowing it to sit for several minutes before proceeding.
After the salt paste has had a chance to work its magic, use an old toothbrush to scrub the stained area in a circular motion. This should help to loosen the stain and make it easier to remove.
Once the stain has been scrubbed, rinse the area with cold water until all residue is gone. You may need to repeat this step several times to ensure that all of the salt paste has been removed.
In a bowl or cup, mix one tablespoon of liquid dish soap with one tablespoon of white vinegar. Dip a cotton ball in mixture and apply it to the stained area. Gently rub cotton ball over the stain in a circular motion. Allow the mixture to sit on the stain for 10-15 minutes.
After the soap and vinegar mixture has had a chance to work, rinse the area again with cold water. You should notice that the stain has lightened considerably, if not disappeared completely.
Once the stain has been removed, wash the camisole as usual according to the care instructions. Be sure to hang the camisole to dry, rather than placing it in the dryer.
Removing marker stains from delicate materials doesn't have to be difficult. Using this handy guide, you can quickly and easily remove those pesky stains, restoring your camisole to its former glory!
