Gather the following items before you begin removing marker stains from your briefs:
If the marker stain is still fresh, use bristled brush to scrape off as much of the excess ink as possible. This will make it easier to remove the stain later.
Once you've removed all of the excess ink, apply a bit of detergent directly onto stain and gently rub it in with the cloth.
Once the stain has been pre-treated, it's time to soak briefs in warm water. Fill a bucket or bowl with warm water and a few drops of detergent, then place the stained briefs in the water and let them soak for 30 minutes.
After the briefs have soaked for 30 minutes, rinse them in cool water to remove the detergent. Then, place the briefs in the washing machine and wash with a mild detergent using the gentle cycle.
Once the briefs are finished washing, place them in dryer and dry on low heat. Once they're completely dry, inspect the briefs to ensure that the marker stain has been successfully removed.
If the stain is still visible after drying, repeat Steps 2-5 until the stain is completely gone.
With these easy steps, you can quickly and easily remove marker stains from your briefs. Just be sure to always use a soft-bristled brush and mild detergent to prevent damaging the fabric of your briefs.
