First, mix equal parts of white vinegar and water in a bowl. Submerge the soiled area in the solution, making sure it is completely immersed. Soak the fabric for about 10 minutes before continuing to the next step.
After soaking, use a soft cloth or cotton ball to dab the soiled area gently. Make sure you are not rubbing fabric as it might cause further damage. Blot the fabric until marker stain is completely removed.
Once the stain has been removed, it’s time to throw your activewear in the laundry. Add laundry detergent to the washing machine as per the instructions on package, and set the cycle to warm or hot temperature. When done, dry the fabric as per usual.
Marker stains on activewear are no big deal. Simply follow the steps outlined above, and your activewear will be good as new!
